Since the PSP is lacking behind in sales (an ass-whoopin’ more like it) when compared to Nintendo’s third pillar, the DS, what better way to introduce a younger set of gamers than releasing cartoonish games on the PSP itself?
So far, Spongebob and Dragon Ball Z have helped a little bit, but the PSP could do with a whole lot more. Avatar: The Last Airbender from THQ will be released next month on the 10th, and this game will see gamers control a bunch of heroes who are blessed with bending powers which are derived from the four elements. It looks very much like a single player game, and the lack of interactivity with other gamers will most probably relegate this title into the realm of has-beens due to the lack or replayability. Sad but true.
