The PSP and DS have gone head-to-head in many tests and benchmarks, and the latest round is a contest between both screens. Which would emerge as the victor?
In a surprising twist of events, both screens come up as pretty equal in terms of performance despite the general illusion that the PSP would win hands down. The PSP might have a better dots-per-square-inch ratio at 130 compared to the DS’ 110, but the DS turns the tables around in terms of brightness, pumping out a brightness level of 200 cd/mē that thumps the PSP’s 148 cd/mē reading
Not only that, the DS handles color much better than the PSP, although the overall score favored the PSP as the victor by the thinnest or margins. Depending on who’s camp you’re on, the argument could go either way.
