
Hadn’t the launch schedule of God of War: Chains of Olympus been deferred, the game would have received lots of hands-on reviews from various websites, but quirk of fate has prayed this title also as the game that was previously slated for this September launch, has been held back until next year. In accordance with new schedule, the game will be out on Sony’s portable platform ‘PSP’ on March 4th, 2008, across US.
What made Ready At Dawn Studios to miss out such a lucrative Christmas trade period is unknown yet, but apparently it’s development issue that made the developers reschedule its launch date. On the basis of exception hypothesis after deeming the popularity of the prequel GOW II on the PS2, it was hoped that the title would be a potential PSP title debuting this Holiday season.
As the SCE has rolled out the first game trailer, apparently those who signed up for a demo on the official site would also receive a demo bundled with a playable level and extra behind-the-scenes footage, later this month.
When our European chums would be able to get their hand on the game is currently unknown, but hope SCE would clinch the issue sooner than later.
