Namco Bandai has just announced the portable version of Katamari Damacy named Katamari Damacy Mobile that will be featuring tilt-controls on P904i phones.
While the PS3 and Xbox360 are getting Katamari fun from Namco Bandai’s next installment in the franchise, Beautiful Katamari, but with the introduction of Katamari Damacy Mobile, Namco has fueled our addiction.
According to the publisher, Katamari Damacy Mobile will feature tilt-roll as it makes its debut in June over 904i phones (iMode series) in Japan (because the phone is available in Japan only).
Katamari Damacy Mobile will come pre-bundled with P904i phones, and owners of other models can get it downloaded on their respective cells through Namco Games Channel.
Though, the game makes a good use of motion-sensing feature, Namco must have a Wii version in the pipeline as Wii-mote is the Wii’s gaming accessory that makes a good use of tilt-sense. What do you think?
