Lumines was one of the better launch titles for the PSP and was some sort of early killer application as it held gamers’ attention worldwide with its unique brand of gameplay in the puzzle genre. Since then, there were hardly any other puzzle games on the PSP platform which could emulate the success of Lumines.
Will the launch of Lumines II change this perspective? We certainly hope so, as the official website for Lumines II was just launched, sporting a brand new interface and a whole host of goodies such as a wallpaper creater and information regarding upcoming competitions.
The site does not look quite finished yet, so we’re keeping our fingers cross that there will be more goodies heading our way in the near future, including today’s basic essentials such as a blog and a music hub.
