Do you think that Dr. Kawashima’s defection to the PSP platform will be able to revive the beleaguered handheld console from Sony? The venerable doctor hopes that his version of Brain Trainer on Sony’s handheld will be able to leave a legacy on the PSP platform as it did with the DS which sold massive amounts of copies.
The Brain Trainer title has been revamped and is now known as Mind Quiz. It will be released across Europe this November, and this title will bring some cerebrum-taxing exercises that puts the gamers’ brains through rigorous activities involving calculation abilities, reflexes, and memory retention via a series of mini-games which lead to the ultimate aim - your “Brain Age” score.
We’re not sure how the lack of a touchscreen capability will affect the gameplay of Mind Quiz on the PSP, but be prepared to settle for tons and tons of mathematical questions. You will probably end up with your brains oozing out from your ears after each session. Bleurgh.
