The latest issue of Famitsu confirms that Square-Enix is working on Dragon Quest sequels for Nintendo’s dual-screen handheld DS. The new titles underway are Dragon Quest VI, V and VI that the developer is contemplating to ship to Nintendo’s portable platform in Japan later this year.
Jump over the latest scans that the magazine comes with confirming three Dragon Quest remakes, each with different plot and exclusive update.

The scans reveal that all three games will be receiving a graphical upgrade making them look better on the portable platform. However, Dragon Quests IV and V have already received a remake into 3D and are released on the PSOne and PS2, respectively, yet again the same RPG trio receives a mod in favor of keeping moneymaking rollercoaster revolving.
It’s hard to articulate that whether ‘Dragon Quest VI’ that has never seen a release outside of its native place (Japan), will ascend Japanese frontier or will remain region exclusive only.
Furthermore, the magazine clues that the first game of all three Dragon Quest remakes could be ready for purchase sometime this winter.
